This Privacy Policy describes how HeadInTheClouds ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in connection with the Pattern Forge mobile application ("the Application") available on the Google Play Store.

A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect the following personal information when you register for the Application or use certain features:

• Personal Identifiers:
  • Name or Nickname: Used to identify your account within the Application.
  • Email Address: Used for account management, password recovery, essential service notifications, and privacy/support communications.

B. User-Generated Content

• Generated Patterns and Images: If you use the Application's features to generate patterns or images using Artificial Intelligence and choose to save or share such content, this data is collected and associated with your account.
• Device Images/Media: The Application will access your image gallery only if you explicitly authorize it to upload an image as input for pattern generation. This information is processed only temporarily for the generation and is not stored unless you explicitly decide to save the result in the Application.

C. Transaction Data (Purchases)

• Credit Purchase History: The Application tracks your internal credit balance and credit purchase history.
• Important Note: Payment transactions are processed directly through the Google Play Store's billing system. HeadInTheClouds does not collect or store any credit/debit card information or financial details. We only receive a transaction confirmation from Google.

D. Usage and Analytics Information

We use analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics) to collect data on how the Application is used, including:

• Device Information: Device type, model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and the Application version.
• Usage Data: Logs of in-app activity, interactions with AI features, session duration, and crash data for bug fixing.

3. How We Use Your Information and Legal Basis

• Data Storage: Your personal data and generated content are stored on secure infrastructure provided by Supabase. We have implemented rigorous technical and organizational security measures to protect your data.
• Key Service Providers:
  • Supabase: Secure database hosting and user management.
  • Google Play/Firebase: Payment processing (Google Play) and usage/performance analytics (Firebase).
• International Transfers: Your data is stored on servers that may be located outside your country of residence (such as the United States). By using the Application, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

5. Data Retention

We will retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with the services.

If your account remains inactive (no logins or use of core features) for a period of 1 year, we will securely delete your account and its associated data (including your email, nickname, and stored patterns).
